A Note from Our Wine Director

A big thank you goes out to all of you who have made our wine program such a success. Because of you, we have not only earned Wine Spectator's 2009 Award of Excellence, but also their award for inexpensive wine pricing. What this means is that when you come to Villa Macri Ristorante you will find high quality wine without the outrageous price markups of other fine dining establishments. We are one of three restaurants to earn both distinctions in the entire state of Indiana and the only restaurant north of Indianapolis.

Sommelier Seminar

Monday, June 28, at 6:30 pm

Come join Arthur Black, the 2008 Best Young Sommelier, as he leads a discussion on the knowledge and dedication required to become a top sommelier. A blind tasting of eight wines will be conducted to help improve your wine vocabulary and varietal identification skills. Proper wine service etiquette will also be demonstrated. This will be a great opportunity to learn from and taste with one of the best sommeliers in the country.

$20 per person all inclusive.
